Zelda (Ocarina of time)

Hi hi! This Zelda pattern is based on Ocarina of Time and it is very similar to the Link I made before.

Materials:

– Cream, yellow, white and pink yarn  (I used 100% cotton yarn Barroco by Circulo, which is a bulky / 12 ply (7wpi));
– Thin yellow yarn to embroider, thin blue yarn and thin red yarn (I used 100% cotton yarn Anne by Circulo, which is a Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi));
– Thin gold yarn (I used 100% cotton yarn Esterlina 5 by Círculo, which has a metalic look and is a Light Fingering);
– 4mm and 2mm (only for the thin gold yarn) crochet hook;
– Fiberfill;
– Tapestry needle, needle and scissors;
– Safety eyes 10mm and a small pink plastic jewel to her crown;
– Pins;
– Thick wire to sustain her head (because of the  hair her head is too heavy to stand up by itself, so you have to place a very thick piece of wire from the top of his head until her body).

Notes:

– I always do my crochet works using continuous rounds. I will let you know when you have to join rounds;
– Everytime I will do a crochet work, the first thing I do is take a look in the entirely pattern before start doing it, so, I can have an idea of how the pattern works. Well, I recommend you to do the same;
– For sewing the pieces together you will use the tapestry needle;

Recently, I’m having a hard time to answer all the questions sent to my email and the comments. I’m sorry that I’m not able to answer your doubts. However, if you have any doubt, I’m sure that it is worth to leave a comment here, because even if I can’t answer you, I’m sure that someone in the community will try to help you out ^^

Assembly:

1. Make all the crochet pieces.

2. Sew her ears to her head.

3. Sew her hair to her head. Cut many pieces of yellow yarn to attach with a knot to her head. You are going to attach some of them skirting the front of her hair. About 2 rows. Then attach 1 row skirting the back of her hair.

Grab some strands of hiar from each side of her head and fasten them to make her hairstyle.

Attach about 5 strands of yarn in each side of her head near her ear to look like that:

4. Sew her crown to her head below her hair and glue the jewel to the crown;

5. Sew her feet to her legs (Stuff her feet lightly);

6. Sew the bottom of her dress between round 7 and 8 of her body;

7. Sew the pink detail that is located on the back of her dress;

8. Sew the blue banner to her gold belt with gold yarn. Then embroider the triforce on it. Attach the belt to her waist with a few stitches;

9. Insert a thick wire inside her head and body. Because her head is too heavy to stand up by itself you need to put this wire;

10. Sew her arms to her body (just stuff her hands, no need to stuff her arms);

11. attach her shoulder pads with a few stitches to her shoulders;
