<\/a><\/p>\nI designed Hiroshi for a design contest hosted by\u00a0Amigurumi Patterns<\/a>, which had as a theme create an amigurumi animal in a working outfit!! I was very excited to participate!! There were many cute and beautiful designs entries and I fell in love for many of them!!!<\/p>\n It was really fun to think about which animal to create, which profession to choose and how to do my ami! I\u2019m very happy with the result, I love my Sushicat! <3 Sadly, I would like to have done more amigurumis to the contest, but I\u2019m too busy at college >.<<\/p>\n Now, let me introduce you to Hiroshi, my first original character :) He is a japanese cat, who loves to eat and loves salmon. So, one day he took the decision to become a Sushicat and now he can eat how many salmon sushis he desire! He is also very kind and he would love to make some sushis for you! ^_^<\/p>\n Yoko and Hiroshi have become friends and he is making some sushis for her! I hope you also like Hiroshi and if you want to have him with you, here it is the pattern:<\/p>\n Materials:<\/p>\n – White and Light brown fluffy yarn; Notes:<\/p>\n 1. This pattern uses 100% cotton yarn with a thickness to a 1,75mm hook to make Hiroshi’s Kimono, headband, salmon sushi and salmon makimono. To make Hiroshi it is used a thin fluffy yarn. Make two rows.<\/p>\n – Sleeves<\/p>\n 1. Attach the yarn in the hole that it will be the sleeve.<\/p>\n 2. Make 10 Rounds with 35 sc each.<\/p>\n 3. After that, make two rounds with black yarn.<\/p>\n – Salmon Sushi (1.75mm Hook)\u00a0Use 100% cotton thin yarn.<\/p>\n Rice (Use\u00a0white yarn) Round 3: sc, inc (18) Salmon (Use\u00a0orange yarn) Sew some white yarn to make the white lines of the salmon.<\/p>\n – Salmon Hossomaki (1.75mm Hook)\u00a0Use 100% cotton thin yarn.<\/p>\n Start with orange yarn Sew some green yarn to make the green part of the hossomaki.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n – Assembly<\/p>\n 1. Sew his ears to the head;<\/p>\n 2. Sew the head to the body;<\/p>\n 3. Sew the arms to the body;<\/p>\n 4. Sew the legs to the body. His legs are sewn to the sides of his body and you should stuff them with fiberfill:<\/p>\n 5. Sew the feet to his body and sew his tail to his body;<\/p>\n 6.\u00a0Sew some light brown yarn in his back to make some brown lines in his fur;<\/p>\n 7. \u00a0Cut some black felt to make his eyes, nose and mouth and glue it to his face;<\/p>\n 8. Use red and black fabric paint to paint his headband;<\/p>\n It is written “Nihon” in his headband, which means Japan.<\/p>\n 9.
